Health, Work and Well-being Awards 2007
In 2007 Health, Work and Well-being sponsored the National Business Awards and the Business in the Community award schemes to recognise organisations who have developed successful health and well-being programmes.
National Business Awards
The inaugural award was presented at a gala dinner and ceremony hosted by Sir Trevor McDonald, at Londons Grosvenor House Hotel in November. The award, judged by a panel of expert judges, recognised innovation and excellence in workplace health.

The first Health, Work and Well-being regional awards recognised organisations who have developed specific examples of good practice – which are either making an impact at regional level or laying the foundations for a wider change.
This award was intended to complement the BITC Unum Healthy Workplace Award for organisations, who could demonstrate a comprehensive approach to improving and maximising the health and well-being of their employees.
The awards were judged by a panel including independent HR experts from Danone Dairies, Prudential, and London Underground and events were held across the country in June to present these awards.
